Microsoft Solutions

Microsoft 365 solutions and licensing.

Deployed properly, licensed correctly, secured deliberately, and backed up — because Microsoft does not do that last part for you.

Buying licences is the easy part

Almost any reseller can sell you Microsoft 365 licences. The difference shows up afterwards — in whether the tenant is configured securely, whether the migration preserved everything, whether staff can actually find their files, and whether anyone can recover a mailbox deleted three months ago.

We treat Microsoft 365 as a platform to be engineered rather than a subscription to be invoiced: identity and access configured deliberately, data protected, licensing matched to what people genuinely need, and the environment documented.

Microsoft does not back up your data

This surprises most organisations, usually at the worst moment.

Microsoft guarantees the availability of the service. It does not guarantee recovery of your data from an arbitrary point in the past. Retention and recycle bin windows are limited, and once they lapse, deleted mail, files and Teams content are gone.

That gap is filled by an independent backup of the tenant — a separate copy, under your control, with retention that matches how long it actually takes an organisation to notice something is missing.

  • Accidental deletion discovered months later, not days.
  • Departing staff whose mailbox and files must be retained after the licence is removed.
  • Ransomware encrypting synchronised files across OneDrive and SharePoint.
  • Malicious deletion where the recycle bin was emptied deliberately.
  • Compliance requirements demanding retention beyond the platform's own limits.

Microsoft questions

Can you migrate us from on-premises Exchange?
Yes. That includes hybrid configurations where mailboxes move in stages, and cutover migrations for smaller organisations. Public folders, shared mailboxes, distribution groups and calendar permissions are migrated as part of the work, not left as an afterthought.
Are we paying for the right licences?
Often not. Licence sprawl is common — unused accounts left assigned, premium plans given to users who need a basic one, or duplicate tooling paid for twice. A licence review usually pays for itself.
Can you secure our existing tenant without migrating anything?
Yes. Tenant hardening is a distinct engagement: multi-factor authentication, conditional access, admin role review, legacy authentication disabling, and anti-phishing policy. It is one of the highest-value pieces of security work available to most organisations.
Do you provide day-to-day administration afterwards?
Yes, under managed IT — user onboarding and offboarding, licence assignment, policy changes and support for the people using the platform.

Microsoft 365 that needs sorting out?

Whether it is a migration, a licensing review or a tenant that grew without a plan — tell us where it stands.
