Why call quality problems are network problems
The phone is almost never the fault.
Choppy audio, one-way audio and dropped calls are usually caused by the network carrying the traffic: no quality-of-service marking, a saturated uplink, an aggressive firewall closing sessions early, or double NAT between the handset and the carrier.
