Colocation questions

Can we access our own equipment?

Yes. Access to your rack space is arranged through a controlled procedure, so you can attend for hardware work when you need to. Where a visit is not practical, our remote hands service covers the physical task instead.

What if we do not want to manage the servers ourselves?

You can add managed services on top of colocation. In that arrangement the hardware remains yours while our engineers handle the operating systems, patching, monitoring and backup.

Can you help move the equipment?

Yes. Physical migration is planned as a project — inventory, rack layout, IP and connectivity design, a scheduled move window, and a verification checklist before the old location is decommissioned.

How does colocation compare to cloud on cost?

It depends on your hardware refresh cycle and workload profile. Colocation favours organisations with hardware already purchased and stable, predictable load. Cloud favours variable demand and avoiding capital purchases. We will model both honestly rather than push one.
